Friends of Chehalem Trails:
Enjoy, Volunteer & Advocate for Trails

Welcome to Friends of Chehalem Trails, a community-driven initiative dedicated to encouraging people to enjoy, volunteer, and advocate for trails in Newberg, Dundee, and the surrounding Chehalem Valley area. We believe that trails bring people together—connecting us to nature, to our neighbors, to history and to a healthier lifestyle.

We organize community walks and bike rides, host volunteer trail workdays, and advocate for better trails and parks to ensure everyone has access to the outdoors. Whether you’re looking to explore local trails, lend a helping hand, or speak up for outdoor spaces, there’s a place for you here.
